My Thanksgiving break

  How my thanksgiving break went. On the first Saturday, I went to my grandparent’s house to take Christmas picture and to have thanksgiving lunch. This is my dads’ parents. They live right next to us. So, it went pretty well, we had our lunch then I went go play with the little cousins. We didn’t leave till around 3:00. Then I was pretty much lazy up until I had to pack on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday we went to my grandparents’ house (my mom’s parents). They live about an hour and forty minutes to two hours. On the way there we stopped at firehouse because it was lunch time. It was so good, and I got a meatball sandwich. It was gooey and very cheesy. Once we arrived, we had to go back in the car to go bring my grandmother to New Orleans to the doctor to do something. We had to take her because my grandfather was working day shifts. He works at a power plant. So, we get there at 2, and it took about 20 minutes long. After it was done, we went to rouses. But it didn’t have what we needed. So, we went to Walmart instead. We bought leggings, things to make sandwiches for lunch, snacks, drinks, two pizzas for dinner, and a couple other things. Then we headed home. When we get there, we say high to my grandfather, and then eat our pizza. The next day, Thanksgiving, my aunt and my two cousins showed up pretty early in the morning. We play around and then eat lunch. Later that evening, my other family members show up. When I saw my twin cousins, we were all in shock because they got way bigger. They are 13, but they are not a whole year older than me. They got held back so now they are in 7^th grade just like me. One had crutches, but I knew about it. The older twin, Tate, was like 5’7 and the younger twin, Thomas, was around 5’5. I used to be taller than them. But know I feel really short compared to them and my brother. Then we ate dinner, and it was delicious. After that we had to take a photo of everyone. My grandparents are Kim (Ganny), and Tim (Pappy). My aunts are Aunt Virginia, Aunt Hillary, and Aunt Tori. My Uncles are Uncle Jeff (but I call him Parian), Tee jay. And that took a while. Then we took a picture with just my cousin and my grandparents. All my cousins are Tate, Thomas, Emmalyn, Isabella, Isaac, Maverick, and Evelyn. Soon after we just hung around and talked. I played checkers with Tate most of the time. And I also played with the babies. They are both one. Maverick was born in July of 2020, and Evelyn was born in September of 2020. They are both so cute. After everyone eaves we get ready for bed. The next day we stayed for lunch time, and then we had to go back home because my dad wanted to finish his greenhouse to put all of his plants in. When we got home, we unloaded the car and got the Christmas things down. Me and my mom decorated some, but not much because we wanted to rest because we had drove a lot in the past couple days. Then we were board and went shopping just me and my mom. She said let’s go shopping. We went to Baton Rouge to the mall. I went to Bath and Body Works and bought bath bombs, lotions, and some germ x. It smelled so good in the store. Then I was hungry, so we went to get Chinese food in the food center. Me and my mom shared food, and we had a lot of food. It was so good. Later on I got a pretzel with the cheese sauce, and ice cream. It was bomb. Next, we had gone to JC Penny and found a lot of good clothes. It was so much fun. Now we had went to some other stores, and my mom said we were done for the day. On Saturday, we decorated a lot, and I cleaned out my room. When we were decorating, we listing to Feliz Navidad. These lyrics were stuck in my head all day.
